Getting Started

Once you purchase your business card template, you'll receive a PDF with instructions and a link where you can access the template in Canva. You'll need to duplicate the template to your own Canva account before you can make any changes.

Tips for Editing

Once you've duplicated your template to your account, be sure to go through all of the included fields and update the placeholder information with your own. If there is any content on the template you won't be using, you can simply delete it. If you need more information, you can copy any existing template piece and paste it in to add more info.

To create a headshot without a background, upload your own headshot to Canva, then select "Edit Image" in the top toolbar. One of the tools is called "Remove Background" and selecting it will automatically remove the background of your head shot so that you can place it in front of the included background image of houses.

If your name is too long or too short in comparison to the placeholder name, you can adjust the size of the font and reposition it.
